David Bacon

Vice President, Development, Town Center

With 20 years of experience across the full spectrum of real estate development, Dave brings deep expertise in transforming complex visions into places where people genuinely want to live, work, and gather. As VP of Development at Lone Mountain Land Company, he leads execution of the Town Center project — drawing on a career built across ground-up multifamily, full-service hospitality, brownfield redevelopment, urban infill, and commercial development.

His project portfolio reflects both the scale and breadth of his experience, encompassing 360+ unit apartment complexes, 390+ key full-service hotels, a 115,000 SF industrial and research facility in Boulder, and over 250,000 SF of core and shell construction for tech, creative, and medical office users. Across every project type, Dave's approach centers on assembling the right team, solving hard problems, and delivering lasting community value.

Dave holds a B.A. in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan and an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Development from the University of Colorado. He previously served as Co-Chair of the Urban Land Institute's Boulder chapter — a reflection of his longstanding commitment to thoughtful, community-centered development. When he's not on a job site, Dave is out in Big Sky with his wife and three kids, hiking, biking, and skiing — and always keeping a close eye on Michigan Wolverines football.
